This was the 5th visit for service, 2nd for Chris, but I really am grateful for Chris’ help. I explained the issue and what I thought he could be able to do to resolve my leaking Kitchenaid refrigerator. None of the previous techs took the time nor made the effort to consider these ideas. Chris listened to my ideas and came up with an idea to check and was able to identify a possible solution to the problem. His openness to hear my concerns and his technical skills allowed him to think “outside the box” and find a solution. I really appreciate his effort and am hopeful that he was able to fix the problem the refrigerator was having.

We had to open a claim twice before our refrigerator was repaired. The repairman didn't have the greatest attitude, and complained that he could not definitively prove the root cause of the problem (the compressor). He closed the first ticket saying my son cancelled the call (which he did not). The second time around the repairman had to deal with me. He whined a lot but ended up ordering and replacing the refrigerator compressor. The refrigerator is now working perfectly and we can trust it to keep food cold / frozen.

It took a while to get the part, but the guy who came out was helpful and nice. I want to point out that i have an extended warranty, when i first called in all of that was set up properly; at no point did Paradise question whether there was a warranty...not until the technician got there and asked. He said it says it's not under warranty. i said i called in and gave my warranty info and the order was taken through that warranty info. instead of packing up and leaving, he did the work. then he ran into a snag as he took my word for it but his boss's were saying it's not under warranty; the order had come in not under warranty. but it was under warranty. so i called whirlpool, got the warranty people, they confirmed it, it was THEIR mistake and not mine and not the technician's and not Paradise's. BUT HAD IT NOT BEEN FOR THE TRUST THE TECHNICIAN GAVE ME, this would have been a disaster, he would have left, I would have been angry, and so on. He handled it perfectly. I was right. He believed me. And the order was completed. Hooray for him. Good guy.

1/1/19 Microwave issue-time set worked but turntable didn't turn and light didn't come on. Called to set up appointment, earliest they could come was the 10th of January. First appointment 1/10/19 fuse issue $30 part that had to be ordered, repairman returned on 1/15/19 to replace, 3 1/2 hours later not only wasn't he able to fix the problem but now the oven didn't work, which was working the evening before his arrival to repair the microwave. Another part had to be ordered was due in on the 18th and that repair was to be made on the 18th. The part didn't arrive so had to be rescheduled for the 21st. Still no part, finally the part arrived on the 22nd and the repairs of both the microwave and the oven were completed. We were required to pay for the oven part which worked fine before their repair man caused a problem. Therefore we were without a microwave for 22 days and an oven for 10 days due to incompetent repairman who caused the problem with the oven. During this time we continued to try to reach a superior at the company and were told an email would be sent to a supervisor who would contact us within 24 to 48 hours. We received a voice mail from some one named Edwin two days after our call we called him back three times left messages and we have yet to hear from him. Repair capabilities for inadequate. Customer service terrible Access to management or owners is unavailable Price was unreasonable considering they caused the problem.

The technician made damage on the new wooden floor. I was not at the site when they were doing service, but when I get back, I was distraught that they damaged and marked on the new floor.
