I had 2 issues: icemaker wasn’t working and pooling of water at bottom of refrigerator. Pablo determined that ice maker needed to be replaced and said he’d return on 8/18. He declined to repair the refrigerator problem & said he’d do that when he returned with the freezer part. When no one came, as promised, on 8/18 I was told the part hadn’t arrived & I was upset no one had informed me before 8/18 since I had reserved the whole day. I was promised the repair would be done on 8/23. No one came on 8/23 & I was never informed in advance. I scheduled an appointment for 8/25 on 8/24 but no one ever called me to give me a time window for the visit. Pablo returned on 8/25 but obviously mis-diagnosed the freezer problem since the replacement part didn’t work. He didn’t seem to know what he was doing and was consulting with a colleague on his phone to try to complete the job, but failed, claiming the entire freezer door needed to be replaced but none were available. He said I’d be offered some financial compensation since he couldn’t repair the ice maker and then didn’t want to address my refrigerator issue he deferred from the first visit, stating there was no point in fixing the refrigerator problem since the whole unit would be replaced anyway. I was very dissatisfied with his attitude and he called his supervisor who instructed him to repair the refrigerator problem which he then grudgingly did. I’d like a new technician to evaluate the freezer situation for a second opinion since my experience with Pablo was unsatisfactory. He also failed to replace several items in the refrigerator or clean up after himself when he was done.
