The tech was timely and work performed accordingly. They only problem I had with the "Company" is that the service fee is not applied to the repair service. I have dealt with other repair service that will apply this fee if you get the repairs done with them. If not, then you still pay the tech the service fee. I feel the service fee was high (@ $109) . That is not the tech's fault or problem. This company was suggested by Maytag customer service since I needed a certified Maytag/ Whirlpool tech. Wasn't sure if my problem would be covered under warranty. It wasn't !!

Our issue with Convenience was that our microwave repair was delayed twice because the part was supposed to be in stock but wasn't. On the day of our original scheduled service date, a representative called us to find out more details. He then decided the day of, that he needed to order more parts and would be canceling our service that day. It took a week for them to get the parts needed and he scheduled our new appointment for that time. The service rep that came out argued that a part was not broken, although it absolutely without a doubt was. He replaced the parts anyways despite disagreeing that it was broken. The service in general was just mediocre, I wouldn’t recommend the company to anyone nor have any major complaints. Just wasn’t a pleasant experience.

I guess I was last on the list because the repair guy was in a rush. My freezer was not working properly and the light wasnt working. He was there for 15 minutes tinkering around and then sprayed steam inside. He said it wasn't sealing properly and that he fixed it. He was leaving in a rush and I asked him if I needed to sign anything. He said no and rushed out. About an hour later I opened the freezer and it was frozen over. I saw that the light switch was frozen as well thus the light not working. Now I have to call another service to perform the repair. A big waste of my time and my wife's time because she had to wait all day because of the 8 hour window that I was given.

It took more than a month to get my washer repaired. Finally after waiting for approvals and parts, the washer got “repaired” but found out the washer worked sometimes only on Normal cycle. There is a noise on the motor, delivers and dumps lots of water without washing, and the top control panel plate is loose. Did not expect that from professionals.

Chris came out to repair our stove and dishwasher. He communicowhen he was on the way and showed up on time. He was very polite and was able to fix the stove right away. He was unable to find the leak with the dishwasher and when he ran the cycle, everything seemed fine. Of course I ran a load of dishes and it leaked again. I called Chris and he was able to put me on the schedule for the next day! He came out and was able to fix the problem and checked everything out thoroughly before he left. Ramone does not like his job. He complained the entire time. Ex: doesn't like to go to make calls by the beach, he isn't supposed to tell the customers what is really wrong with their equipment. Ramona blamed the washer breaking because my son added water, and that my son admitted it. And my son told him that I overloaded the washer and that what broke it. First of all, my son added water because it filled slowly, not to overfill it. Second, when does anyone ask someone else to come witness how they use their washer? Third, Ramona used a very demanding tone when telling me how and why we were at fault. I asked him if that made him feel good to talk down to meand he said he wasn't, he was just explaining his side of the story. He wouldn't let it go, 3 times I tried to let him say ANYTHING nice, or helpful, but nothing. I was scared because of his tone, his response, and then he left my washer inoperable, on purpose. We're a family of 4. We need to wash small loads 2 times a week and he couldn't fix it. The washer fills to the top with any size load, even an empty load. Ramone said we could only use bulky and deep load setting. Why, would anyone, buy a washer, new, to only be able to use 1 setting, and waiste water? Who does that? Ramona is done. Not sure if retraining him would work. He is too confident in all the wrong ways. I never want him in my home again. Ramone insulted me, tried to get my son to throw me under the bus, left me without the use of my washer for 4 days, then 2 more till someone else could fix what he said he fixed. How many customers should have complained about him and didn't? This is borderline abuse at the professional level. The last guy came in, was polite to my son, fixed the washer and was gone in less than 30 min. Now thats what should have happened in the first place.

The tech showed up without a vacuum cleaner the first time so I had glass all over the floor when she opened the door. Left me with the mess. Second trip she came out to replace the glass. Took the door off and laid in on my $6000.00 granite top and worked on the door chipped my granite. Installed the door and there is still glass inside the door and again left me with glass on the counter top and the floor. Nobody has called me back.

The final technician, Victor Burgueno, did a great job of replacing the compressor in our month-old Kitchen Aid refrigerator. Too bad he didn't come out on the original call. Instead we got a tech had no idea how to diagnose the problem so he just ran diagnostics and, when he found nothing wrong with the electronics, unplugged/plugged in the refrigerator and ordered electronic parts. After a suitable delay, the second tech replaced the fan and two electronic components and ordered a compressor. Five days later, the final tech came out to replace the compressor and so far the empty refrigerator seems to be working fine. The company seems to carry no parts yet only seems to be able to fix problems by swapping parts until something works. I don't feel that it should take two weeks to fix a refrigerator where it seemed obvious to me that the compressor was not working. Since it was under warranty (the refrigerator went bad after less than a month), we really had no choice of repair since Paradise seems to be the only warranty service in the area for the whole Whirlpool family of brands. In the past, when we have needed repair on a refrigerator (and were paying for it ourselves), the service company prioritized the repair and came out quickly, could diagnose the problem in one visit, and had parts to repair the problem so that we didn't have to trash the entire contents of the refrigerator. Paradise service is nothing like our previous experiences.

In the past it seems that some of the service people are baffled by what is going on and start trying to blame the situation on what I have done i.e. did you clean your machine. The first time I booked my appointment I got a confirmation but 2hrs before they canceled (service man called in sick). Second time they switched the appointment time on me (I was told I had an afternoon appt and then I got a confirmation that it was a morning appt) so I had to reschedule. I again request an afternoon appt but got a confirmation the night before that it was for the morning. I was able to make it happen, so I kept the appt. The service man (Jaime Garcia) called a half hour before he arrived like I was told her would. He was very professional, considerate and knowledgeable. As it turns out, my machine needed $700 in repairs (the washer was making loud jet like sound when spinning). I decided not to do the repairs as the machine was still working fine (although loud) and cleaning good and I just decided to use it until it dies and then buy a new one. Mr. Garcia informed me when he called that the service call itself was going to be $110 whether or not I did any work. I was fine with that as I needed to know one way or the other what I was going to do about the machine. I would use Paradise again as I was very impressed with Mr. Garcia. The only thing I was not happy about was the scheduling/appointment method that they use.

My dishwasher was flooding the floor in my kitchen. Luckily I caught it before it ruined everything. The setup of an appointment was well coordinated and communicated by Paradise with call and emails confirming the appointment. The repair tech Enrique called when he was on his way and arrived on schedule. It took him 3 tries to fix the problem and in the end he solved it. He was very nice and easy to talk to and explained what he was doing every step of the way.

The repair man showed up and took one look under the sink and saw we had a reverse osmosis water system supplying water to the refrigerator. Without checking anything, he declared that the RO system was the problem. I barely got a chance to tell him that the RO system worked fine with our previous refrigerator. By that time he was already out the door and refused to do any trouble shooting. We called another technician and he fixed the problem in an hour. The problem was internal to the refrigerator and was NOT the RO system. I am disappointed that he didn't listen to me and he refused to do any basic trouble shooting. His visit was a colossal waste of time.
