The scheduling is very disorganized, and on the first visit the technician wasn’t given the part I told them was needed. So after waiting a week, I had to schedule another appointment and wait another week for a repair. For the second appointment, I called twice and emailed to remind them that I had to have a morning appointment. They scheduled it between 12 PM and 4 PM, the exact times I told them I would be gone. The company needs to at least listen and try to accommodate customers’ schedules. Also for the first appointment I specifically asked that the technician arrive with the needed part, as I was taking the day off to wait. He arrived without the part and was only there to confirm that that’s exactly what was needed. Five stars to my technician though. He was professional, clean and courteous. The scheduling issues weren’t his fault.

He said that there was nothing wrong with my refrigerator. I think he is right. Unfortunately, it cost me a little over $100 for the house call. The appointment time was 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, he got here around 5:00 PM., and he still had one more appointment left. That is not his fault, but the fault of the company. How he could be so nice and have such a horrible work schedule is beyond me. The cost, I suppose, is fair for the trip, but not for a refrigerator that works properly. This,of course, is my fault, in that I asked for a repair person.

Phone team would not do a direct re-schedule w/me even though the 11/19 screw up was their fault They made me go through all sorts of hoops, Including, but not limited to, re-scheduling through AIG ...And even then they said nobody could come that day I had to wait two or three days So I was very pushy & irate until I got management on the phone

Tech said he could be back on a Friday, but part wasn’t in, so I took off Friday for no reason and lost a day’s worth of pay. I found out theses motirs fail commonly and therefore should be on the trucks. This experience makes it unlikely I will buy a Whirlpool appliance in tve future. Bad product, terrible service, except for the actual tech who came to the house, he was nice.

My overall experience was not satisfactory. Your company Service Tech Doug Scott did not complete the problem discussed. Only thing he completed was remove Demo Mode from Screen, Message from screen indicated FBEO cooling fan speed set too low was discussed. Doug said this fan gets dirty and will go out, I will type in override so you do not get message, that did not happen, He did not attempt to offer or change out the fan. When he left the glass screen went dark and I phoned him on his cell and he told me what to do to get the clock back. I thought the oven would work since I was hosting for my large family. Message regarding cooling fan kept appearing, NO OVEN. I WANT MY SERVICE CHARGE OF $109.99 CREDITED BACK TO MY VISA CARD. THANKSGIVING WAS RUINED FOR ME. He came on time, was polite and informative. I have no issue with him. However...he told me that the part I need was a compressor - a compressor "kit" and that KitchenAid no longer made them. But I went online and found that there were kits - but not thru KitchenAid. They appeared to be made by Embraco - who made the original. This is your policy but it cost me around $100 bucks and it would have been nice if you got the parts without KitchenAid's endorsement. Lastly - it appeared the compressor wasn't working, but the process of elimination could have found a problem elsewhere - the electronics for instance was failing to signal some device further down the chain.
