I was assigned a 3 hour time slot (12-3 PM, Friday) for my initial appointment. I waited patiently until 4:15 before I called to check on status. I was would not be able to make it out until 45 minutes later which is almost 2 hours past the time slot given. This was frustrating since I scheduled work around this appointment. When he finally arrived, he diagnosed the problem and notified us that the part would have to be ordered and that it wouldn't arrive until Tuesday. He was scheduled me for the first call for the 8-9 time slot. When Tuesday came, I again waited from 8 to 9 AM. By 9 AM, I called the service center to inquire whether the appointment was still happening. The call center told me that they would try to reach out to the tech. I waited until 9:30 AM for a call from the call center... there was no follow-up. When I called, the call center said that they were still having trouble reaching the technician. The technician did not get to my house until 10:30 AM... almost 1.5 hrs past the scheduled time slot!!! This was after my experience on the Friday afternoon. While my fridge was repaired, the customer service and follow-up was horrendous. I will NOT use Paradise Appliance ever again.

Despite our whirlpool refrigerator being less than 2 years old, it can't make ice anymore. The repair technician came , replaced the ice maker and left without checking to see if it worked. Which it still doesn't. Home Depot sold me the warranty that if anything goes wrong with it I could get a new unit within the warranty period. The technician disagreed and now we wait another week for a new computer part for the fridge.

He was on time, exceedingly pleasant, excellent manners, etc. He quickly ascertained the parts required to be ordered. Ultimately, last night, we received an email we’d receive a check, pursuant to the warranty agreement which was in its final months of coverage. It took three transfers to locate the company we should be dealing with. Calls to Paradise “call centerS” were not outstanding. We did not receive an email, as promised, for the three hour window of arrival, necessitating ANOTHER CALL. I recall making three calls in total to the call center.
