Unfortunately the service appointment didn’t resolve my problem, with a new Kitchenaide refrigerator. Same symptoms happened almost immediately. Had to reschedule another appointment. Wouldn’t be so bad, but these appointments aren’t for blocks of time, it’s all day. Serviceman was polite, but I didn’t feel he listened to me, take into account the pictures or video od a struggling condenser motor.

We asked Ramon to follow up on is service call from July 31. I still did not think the unit is cooling properly. Plus when we pulled the unit out the doors were not aligned because the level blocks were removed. Ramon came out checked the unit and said it was working fine. Explained that temperatures can vary about 5 degrees. He check for any leakage and found none. If the problem of not cooling returns we are to call and he will know what parts to bring with him for repair. Otherwise he is convinced we left the door open causing the original problem and prompting the service call.

This company and Technician are great. I give them 4 stars because we had to wait serveral days before they could come out. I realize everyone is busy, but I thought there would be a priority since the unit was not cooling. So 4 stars. After 2 and 1/2 years our $3999.00 KitchenAide refrige was not cooling. Warranty was out we were told by Whirlpool. Fortunately we had a insurance policy. Technician Ramon Heredia came out said the lower freezer condenser was ice and that we needed to pull the plug and let sit for 48, then turn it on for 24 hrs to let the temperature set. Three days later we reluctantly put some food in. The cause may have been door left open which iced the condensor. I disagreed with Ramon because there is door alarm that sounds if doors open. Maybe it happened I don't know. We followed Ramon procedure, lost most of the frozen food and all the produce etc. In the ops manual they state if problem unplug the unit, It does not say 48 hrs. Ramon is very professional and courteous and explained why the 48 hrs is best. We could have saved him the service call. We were told that this should solve the problem. More to follow.

I had a problem with my KitchenAid double ovens and KitchenAid sent Paradise to deal with it. Paradise was extraordinarily prompt and responsive. Even better, the Professional that came to my house to deal with the problem, Pablo Villalta, was both exceptionally knowledgeable and personable. He immediately understood the problem and ordered a replacement of the defective part and also did his best to explain and demonstrate how to use the oven more effectively. I liked him so much that I asked that he be the person who returned with the replacement part since I trusted him. He did so and brought a very nice helper and the two were fantastic. Because of Pablo I would both recommend Paradise and also use the company again. My only concern is that it is impossible to follow up a call by the company in order to confirm or change an appointment time or to ask a question. When I was called, I asked the representative to make the appointment after a certain time, and, despite the customer service rep's courtesy and assurances, the time the repair rep was actually sent was exactly when I had said I wouldn't be available. I got a recorded call reminding me that a service rep would arrive within a specific time block, but the block identified was exactly when I wasn't available. When I followed directions to respond to the prompt, I was first put on hold for 20 minutes after which time the call was disconnected. This happened twice. Luckily Pablo was early and called personally, so both appointments worked out anyway -- however, I sense that this is again to Pablo's credit. So the 5 stars are his.
